Dentures

At The Tooth Place, we offer a range of comfortable, natural-looking dentures to help you regain your smile and restore everyday function. Whether you're missing a few teeth or need a full set, our custom dentures are made to fit securely and look great.

ACRYLIC DENTURES

Acrylic dentures are removable prosthetics used to replace missing teeth and surrounding tissue. They're a popular and cost-effective option for:

- Full dentures (replacing all upper or lower teeth)
- Partial dentures (replacing several missing teeth)

These are custom-made to fit your mouth and can be adjusted over time for improved comfort. Acrylic dentures are ideal for patients looking for an affordable and reliable way to restore their smile.

COBALT CHROME DENTURES

Cobalt chrome (metal-based) dentures offer a stronger and more lightweight alternative to acrylic. These are typically used for partial dentures and provide:

- Enhanced stability and fit
- Thinner, more comfortable design
- Durable and long-lasting results

Cobalt chrome dentures require extra appointments to ensure the perfect fit and framework, but many patients find the added comfort and security well worth it.

What to expect

A dental bridge is a fixed dental restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth by spanning the gap between adjacent teeth. It consists of artificial teeth, called pontics, which are anchored to the natural teeth on either side of the gap.

Dental bridges are available privately and help restore the appearance and function of the smile while preventing potential issues associated with missing teeth, such as shifting of adjacent teeth and difficulty in chewing.

Valplast Flexible Dentures

Valplast is a flexible, metal-free alternative to traditional dentures. Made from a lightweight, gum-coloured resin, Valplast dentures are ideal for:

- Small partial replacements
- Patients looking for a softer, more flexible fit

They’re known for blending naturally with your existing teeth and gums—and for being particularly comfortable to wear.

Which Denture Is Right for Me?

Your dentist will help you decide based on:

- How many teeth are missing
- Your gum and bone health
- Comfort and appearance preferences
- Budget and long-term goals

We’ll take the time to make sure your dentures fit well, feel great, and restore your ability to smile, eat, and speak with confidence.
